After rafting through a winding river, blistering heat and swarms of mosquitoes; the boys will be arriving in Memphis today! Soon, we will be relaxing at a Marina with cold beverages and NO barges.
Hi guys, Guess what! The big news here - Connie is engaged! She and David will probably get married next month by a Justice of the Peace, then have a big celebration next summer in July or August. They are looking for a house to buy in Portland. Connie, Jill and the 4 girls are here right now and we have been having a ball. Yesterday we took a boat ride to Kinnikineck (?), went for a swim and then had a grill supper complete with S'mores. I thought of both of you the whole time! Beautiful setting to be out on the river - and you are doing this every day! Keep having the time of your life! Lots of love from Baba and Irene
